Die medizinisch gebleichte Mittelzugbinde hat eine Dehnbarkeit von ca. 90 % und besteht aus 62 % Baumwolle, 27 % Polyamid und 11 % Elastomer. Mit ihr können Schienen jeglicher Art fixiert werden. Sie übt bei Sportverletzungen eine stützende und komprimierende Wirkung aus. In der Chirurgie wird sie beispielsweise zur Thoraxkompression bei Rippenfrakturen oder zur Stabilisierung von Wundverbänden verwendet. Im Bereich der Phlebologie wird die Binde aufgrund ihrer leichten Handhabung zur unterstützenden Behandlung eingesetzt. Die Binde ist gedehnt 5 m lang. 10 Binden befinden sich in einer Packung.
